Facility Updates

Indiana 1 & 2:

The Indiana 2 facility is still partially offline due to electrical maintenance.  We will provide updates on our status page, as we receive new information.

Iowa 2 & 3:

Multiple curtailments and extreme weather slowed our efforts to restore all miners last week. With warmer weather expected this week, on-site technicians are working hard to bring more miners online. 

Nebraska 2:

The bolt-on repairs are finished, and the team is now racking and bringing miners back online. Over the last week, machine utilization at the site has continued to improve.

Minnesota 1:

Last week, the site experienced a prolonged curtailment due to severe cold weather. We hope conditions will improve in the coming weeks so the on-site team can resume diagnosing miners and improving uptime and utilization.

Texas 6:

Last week, Compass Mining’s facility operations team was dispatched to the Texas 6 facility to assess and address the condition of all containers and machines. At the same time, our on-site team performed thorough electrical inspections on all transformers. These efforts aimed to quickly bring as many units online as possible.

Relocation Updates

Texas 3 & Nebraska 1 Relocation

The relocation of over 20,000 miners is nearing completion, with less than 100 units left.

Texas 1 Relocation

The majority of Texas 1 miners have been relocated, and the remaining 1,300 miners are expected to be redeployed in the coming weeks.

Manitoba 2 & Manitoba 9 Relocation

All Manitoba 2 and Manitoba 9 units have been deracked and will be moved to a Compass facility in the U.S. by March 2025. Customers who have opted to swap their miner and avoid relocation will receive updates on their respective support tickets regarding the next steps.
